POSITION SUMMARY:
The Account Manager is responsible for external sales efforts for REV, supporting the Western Canadian market. This individual is responsible for maintaining existing and developing new customer relationships for both manufactured products as well as field service opportunities. They will work closely with REV management with respect to any of the sales, profit, and marketing activities of the Company. This position will require strong organizational skills with a demonstrated expertise in CRM management and developing effective marketing tools that are industry focused and builds customer relationships. Utilizing our strategic plan, this position is responsible for helping REV increase its exposure within the industry, gain better understanding of market changes, and network within industry circles to identify clients and opportunities for the company to secure new markets and clients. The individual will be responsible to develop a work plan that matches REV's overall business strategy.
POSITION DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop, implement and manage all sales and business development initiatives to successfully drive REV business growth through the acquisition and maintenance of new and existing clients for both our manufactured products as well as our field services.

Utilize the CRM tools, and the sales pipeline to provide seamless information and communications between the sales organization and management

Develop a work plan to match the REV strategic growth objectives

A hunter mentality - capable of opening new doors, and developing new customers

Assist with establishing sales channels through strategic partnerships, existing and new client opportunities

Provide leadership to all departments with marketing, sales opportunities and all business development activities

Present your pipeline during monthly review of sales with managers and ownership

Demonstrate a commitment to all facets of the role identifying new opportunities and initiatives that successfully support in the achievement of company goals and objectives

Manage online activities such as internet sales requests and monitor opportunities from bid sites such as MERX and APC
-
Submit weekly timesheets

Other duties and tasks as assigned by your manager to ensure REV`s goals and objectives are met

Performs all duties so as to meet the responsibilities listed in REV’s Safety and Human Resources Policy Manual

Performs duties according to REV’s quality system procedures and work instructions
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Minimum of three (3) years' experience in similar outside sales role within the commercial and industrial electrical industry

Technical knowledge in the electrical industry is preferred. Experience calling on the electrical contractor, consultant and large end user industry’s is preferred

Strong organizational and presentation skills

Enthusiastic, energetic and self-motivated

A “hunter” sales mentality, driven to provide “exceptional customer service support”, and experience in developing new customers in a highly competitive business environment

Strong electrical technical background and Microsoft Office computer skills is required
-
Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to successfully motivate and develop a team to assist divisions in achieving goals

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
-
A collaborative team player with a professional and positive approach and notable willingness to learn and develop new skills
-
Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

· Capable of traveling – minimum 25% of the time
