The Field Services Manager is responsible for managing the key delivery elements of the company’s Field Service operational and safety performance required to meet both customer and financial expectations. The role is responsible for utilizing the networks and contacts established to identify and secure new business opportunities.


  • Working with REV’s leadership on the organizational (resources, tools, personnel) development and performance of the Field Service division. Demonstrating commitment and ensuring the Field Service division is able to deliver the requirements of the Corporate Strategic Plan and KPIs
  • Set operational and/or performance goals for each individual that are stretching, achievable and tied to long-term goals
  • Ensuring all sales and finance goals of the department are met and communicated
  • Providing leadership for all project technical requirements for the field service team
  • Overseeing all Field Service operations, ensuring that all service jobs are delivered effectively, efficiently, on-time, to specification and in a cost-effective manner
  • Identify business development opportunities through incidental client relationships and pass leads to the Sales Team
  • Actively seek out sales business development opportunities when working with clients
  • Maintain relationships with REV’s clients with respect to Field Service and other capabilities of REV
  • Regularly evaluate operating procedures and create best practices to ensure uniform performance
  • Implement continuous improvement methodologies and culture
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned by your manager to ensure REV’s goals and objectives are met
  • Performs all duties to meet the responsibilities listed in REV’s Safety and Human Resources Policy Manual


  • 10+ years’ experience in a Field Service role is required
  • 5+ years’ experience in People Management is required
  • Senior Management experience is required
  • Experience working in a related industry preferred
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in a suitable discipline, MBA preferred
  • P. Eng. Designation considered an asset
  • NETA certification considered an asset
  • Electrical trade or engineering certification considered an asset
  • Strong understanding of Field Service and industrial electrical service processes with experience
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to successfully motivate and develop a team to accomplish departmental and organizational goals
  • Knowledge of developing and delivering budgets and operating cashflow forecasting
  • Excellent Safety Record / Safety Conscious with an interest in continued learning of safety precautions and procedures


  • Available for frequent intermittent travel of short duration, occasionally with minimal notice.  Field work as required during peak activity.
  • Experience working in variable weather conditions
  • Flexibility to work 24/7 emergency hours
