Retrofit Replacements

Sunlife Plaza, Calgary AB

Sunlife Plaza is a Calgarian high-rise that contains a North, West and East Tower, each 28 stories high. REV works in modernizing electrical systems in high power buildings such as Sunlife Plaza.

With this particular project, REV was requested to work on both the East and West Towers of the Sunlife Plaza Complex. It became apparent that both retrofits needed to be done and therefore essentially everything was replaced, including the 25kV circuit breaker and 600v circuit breaker.

The project was all collaborative effort between REV’s manufacturing, design and field installation departments. It was a very proud moment for REV to see each department working together towards a common goal.

Prior to installation, REV helped to train the building facilitators with arc flash training and operator familiarization. Great job to everyone who worked on this project!

The Sunlife Plaza Towers were in need of some modernization with their retrofits in both the East and West towers.

Description:

With the support of three of REV’s departments, we were able to successfully upgrade each towers equipment including the 25kV circuit breaker and 600v circuit breaker.
